So maybe you’re like me and you have been wondering if Genocide in Darfur is soooo bad then why isn’t it being covered on the news when I get home from work. I get daily updates from Iraq. Just recently, I’ve stared getting these LONDON TERROR updates and then you have what I like to call “brain filler” news:
What celebrity is getting married
What musical group is breaking up
How old some ancient actor is today
Etc Etc
But WHAT ABOUT DARFUR…..can I be honest with you?
Sometimes I feel ashamed to be an American. America really has it so backwards…so selfish…so stinking rich….so egotistical….so “who cares about anybody else”…so “we’re right and everybody else is wrong”…so “we set the standards for civilization and if you don’t like it you’re a terrorist.”
Anyway, check out this website – it really shows in clear ways how American Media has in large ways turned their backs on Darfur and gives you something to do to stop this madness.
