It really just upsets me to see young Black children messing up academically and getting hooked on illegal substances, among other things, and the church sits back and just watches from the sideline. Perhaps it’s just me, but I feel like we, as Black peaople, can do so much more. We are destined to be great. We won’t all be great in the same element, but we all have something to contribute. It’s as if, we don’t support each other anymore (but I’m not going there in this moment).

I wish more people in church would stop obsessing about pleasing the pastor, and start obsessing about building a better community starting inside of their church. Don’t get me wrong, I love my pastor, and support the ministry at my church, but I do get frustrated because we are not a church that interacts with the surrounding community.–>
