New Week / New Blog
Hello Family,
So I finally took the leap and moved my blog to WordPress. There are strong differences between blogger and WordPress that I’ve come across since moving day (which was Friday).
In Blogger you have much more freedom to alter the template of your blog all you want. In WordPress they give you limited options to alter your template based on the free template you choose.Â
What I really like about WordPress though is the ability to create pages. I’m involved in many movements and a part of many organizations. It’s good that I can compartmentalize some of what I’m up to so that you (the reader) have a better sense of where I’m coming from.
So look around this blog and also go back and check out my blogger blog. I would interested in hearing your opinion of which site gives you (the reader) a better experience.
Thanks.

I really like it!
A quick note you will have more freedom (yes even more than Blogger) with WordPress if you load the program onto your sever. If you ever decide to use a webhost (I highly recommend Lunar Pages) I have three accounts with them. The customer service is excellent.
I’m glad you like Word Press!

So far, I have no complaints about WordPress. There are some features that I actually think are nice. I also dig the way a person can compartmentalize/categorize the blog entries. It makes the entries be much more organized, especially when you are blogging about a number of different subject matters. And since that’s what you do, this service will offer the organizational mechanisms that you need.
With that being said, I still favor Blogger. Maybe it’s because it’s my first. I broke my virginity on Blogger. Your blog was the first blog that I ever posted on. And I was inspired by you, of course, to start my very own blog, using Blogger. So, I really-really hate to see you go, my brother… Leaving me all behind and stuff… (smile) But I’ll be checking you out over here. I’m a fan of Faith In Action. So, I’ll always check and see what’s on your mind, no matter where you call home.
Be encouraged, and keep up the good work.
Don’t just have faith… Use that faith to walk on water. I believe in you!

Thanks Angie for your constant support. You certainly have a nack for making me feel like I can walk on water…um…I don’t think I’ll try it though (smile).
And you can blame my good sister, Opal (Vegan Momma), for converting me to Wordpress. I was getting a little discontent with Blogger and Opal swooped right in and planted the seed that it was time to move.
I like Wordpress so far and have begun deleting my posts on blogger. I’ll be completely moved in over here by week’s end.
And thanks for getting back to regular blogging…I thought you forgot about us!
Keep sharing your story, Sis. and stay tuned…I’m about to get ultra active…a movement is afoot in Baltimore and of course you know your brother is all up in it. (smile)

Glad you got the header sorted, I wouldn’t have known unless I came to take a look.

I can’t forget about Faith in Action. I run through this blog a few times a week to see what’s the word. I just haven’t taken the time to post.
Heber, I really like to see your take on various issues. Plus, you’ve raised my level of awareness regarding certain issues.
Even though you don’t get the posts that I think you deserve, don’t get discontented and decide to not blog anymore. Your words are having an impact on the world you live in.
