This blurb from the Examiner is about the Healthcare Rally that I attended last week. It seems that I caught the ear of a reporter during my 3 minute speech.
It says:
Faith-based Health Care
A union-organized health care rally at Light and Pratt streets in the city Tuesday evening, brought out a bevy of union-endorsed Dems: Mayor Martin O’Malley, Anthony Brown, Tom Perez for Attorney General, Peter Franchot for Comptroller, Peter Beilenson for Congress (Md-3rd).
The Rev. Heber Brown III told the crowd: “Jesus was for quality and affordable health care.†He wasn’t shy about putting the polls in their place. “It is our job to have these servants do what we want them to do. … I come to say power to the people and not the politicians.â€
Did I say that? wow. Jesus was for quality and affordablehealth care. I don’t think it was too much of a stretch. To set that statement up I spoke of the woman with the issue of blood who had spent all of her money trying to be healed. I got a bit preachy, but hey! I’m a preacher what do you expect? I just got pumped up…really pumped up – the crowd was live – the band was bumpin – the cameras were rollin. (sigh) ah well – Jesus was for quality and affordable health care? ok. I can live with it.
I really liked pointing my bony brown finger in Martin O’Malley’s face and saying “Power to the people – not to politicians!“Â I loved seeing him squirm.Â

Oh I missed it! Good for you buddy!
I want to see people take action when it comes to their own health. The healing will begin when we when we think about the foods we consume since that does have a major impact on our health.
Speak out against all the toxic chemicals that pollute our environment, and yes our food. Write your local officials, submit articles to the media.
Take action and get active through exercise.
Heal our souls by surrounding ourselves with positive forces don’t let the negativity in.
