Freedom Fall 2006

The launch of Freedom Fall last week here in Baltimore was amazing!  We made history on Friday and Saturday of last week.  As I wrote in my journal this morning, I felt truly invigorated by being a part of a movement devoid of superstars and egos.  Movements are marathons so you won’t find me standing around basking in our act of rebellion, but it’s good to stop for a moment to thank God for another expression of humanity’s desire for a just society.

The Baltimore Examiner covered the story.  Take a look at the article and let me know what you think.  I also have many pictures on my FLICKR page.

As an “old head” it’s encouraging to see young people take action instead of being resigned to the status quo. No revolution ever succeeded without students.
