I support your efforts. Create a highly regulated public utility. Declare eminent domain over Brandon Shores, Chalk Point, and Dickerson power plants for violation of the Clean Air Act and Maryland Healthy Air Act and take back Calvert Cliffs on the basis of stranded costs. Or at least sue them for the aforementioned reasons. Borrow the rest and re-regulate the electric power industry in Maryland.

Mayo Shadick doesn’t like contriversy. His handling of Mike Miller and the Gen. Assembly was like taking candy from a baby. A massive ,” Public organized show of Solidarity,” would devastate Ceg. You can’t allow this enormous rate increase to go away. We can’t allow ourselves to be the ,’Silent Majority,” Now is your chance to step up to the plate. Does Jill reallly think the Governor or the legislature is going to do anything about this BGE rate hike? Doubtful. They all got re-elected by doing nothing, so now, there is no incentive. I just think it is a losing battle. BGE will do whatever they want and O’Malley, Miller, Busch, will let them because they are all corrupt and in bed together. Why else would they create this situation in 1999, and in 2007, they’ve still done nothing to rectify it and make it better for people?
