TV Report of Black Caucus DNA Opposition
Since this mainstream media report, the House of Delegates has voted on the bill and everyone voted in favor of it except Del. Jill Carter (D-41), Del. Michael Smigiel (R-36), Del. Richard Sossi (R-36) and Del. Donna Stifler (R-35A).
Del. Frank Conaway, Jr. (D-40) - who we initially identified as being one of the misguided African American delegates in a previous post - chose not to vote at all.

This is very disappointing. Aside from Del. Carter, only 3 delegates– that happen to be republican–voted against this unconstitutional bill with its innumerable fallacies. I must wonder why democrats felt the need to push this bad bill through. I fear the answer is that there is no limit to what they will do to serve O’Malley, including selling their souls. The state should expect another court battle at the citizens’ expense.

We are not a monolithic community. Too many black Americans believe that it is axiomatic, that if you vote black everything will be okay. If Obama becomes the President of the U.S.A., the blacks who voted for him based on color are going to be sorely disappointed!
If a reparations bill were ever to get through committee, there are a lot of blacks who are going to be sorely disappointed at their black Congressional represenatives.
It shouldn’t be that way - one should not vote based upon the color of one’s skins. It worked for whites, but it won’t work for us!
