IMA Rallies for Education in Baltimore City
This past Saturday, I was blessed to join members of the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance and other community servants under the direction of our president, Pastor Johnny Golden, to rally for education in Baltimore City.
Heeding the challenge of the Baltimore City NAACP President, Marvin “Doc” Cheatham, I will be greeting students at the front doors of their schools this week hopefully showing them in tangible ways the type of love, care, and support that they need to thrive in the classroom. On Monday, August 25, 2008 – the first day of school – I will be greeting students at Walter P. Carter Elementary School.
Welcome back to school students, teachers, and administrators!!
