East Baltimore Church buys liquor license and burns it up!

I was so excited to see this great victory in the fight against liquor stores in Baltimore City. These establishments are magnets for all manner of unlawful and unethical behavior.
Last year, I was involved with an effort to close liquor stores in Park Heights and last week I read that that effort won a great victory as well! Shout out to Bro. Derrick Compton for his tireless effort to AGITATE AGITATE AGITATE!
Two down. More to come.

OMG!!!! The new millenium black church did something to benefit the whole community, just not themselves (snicker, snicker)?
I am currious, what was the outcome of the Evangel Church liquor license scandal that occured several years back? I was in Northern Virginia when that story broke. Truly, the church has become settled (Permagos) in the world.
Good to hear, Only a few hundred more to go. I hope the NAACP would do
something like this as well. Oh, I forget they get money from
Alcohol and Tobacco companies. That would
be a conflict of interest. How so unwise of me to think so!
What is amazing about this topic is, that we are even discussing this matter which should be a given. Perhpas this church originally felt that if Jesus could turn water into wine, we can turn the sell of liquor into making money for the church no less! God help us, for truly the church has truly settled into the world! In other words, you would think that the church would be the last organization ttrying to procure a liquor license. What next, prostitution?
Rev. Solomon you obviously can not read. The Church purchased the license and destroyed it! This means that it can no longer be used or reissued to sell alcohol, not for profit.
