Baltimore Mayor Sheila A. Dixon was charged today in a 12-count indictment, according to the Maryland State Prosecutor’s Office’s Web site.

Dixon was charged with perjury, theft, fraudulent misappropriation and misconduct, stemming from gifts she received from former boyfriend and developer Ronald H. Lipscomb, who was also charged earlier this week.

Dixon has been the target of a nearly three-year probe by State Prosecutor Robert A. Rohrbaugh into corruption at City Hall, an investigation that has centered on allegations that Dixon has used her office to award lucrative contracts to various people including her sister, her boyfriend and her former campaign chairman.

Dixon is expected to appear this afternoon at a news conference at the Clipper Mill offices of her attorney, Arnold M. Weiner.

    Kwame Kilpatrick II?

After reading the indictment can someone tell me who “Developer B” is? From what was previously reported over the late summer, we know that “Developer A” is Ronald Lipscomb/Doracon. Mayor Dixon’s behavior appears to be “Kwame Kilpatrick” like, which is the failure in correctly judging between right or wrong.

I was wondering whether or not we are beginning to experience the resurgence of a trend that goes all the way back to the post-bellum S. Carolina state house. a to,e when blacks won a considerable amount of seats, or to mayor Marion Barry’s experience nearly 100 years later? It seems as if a lot of black politicianse are being investigated at least, justifiably or not, of late. How about Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney, Congressman William Jefferson, unseated Allan Burris, Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick and now Ms Dixon. Or, pn the other hand are we beginning more and more to witness the corruption of black politicians?

Although I have forgotten the monetary figure, I was amazed to learn years ago just how much the government spent to entrap Mayor Barry, while at the same time looking the other way when he came to other luminaries in the District, that were behaving in a more egregious fashion than Da Mayor! I met the mayor making a u-turn in the midst of heavy traffic in Georgetown one Saturday afternoon. The mayor waived from his black Mercedes with a beige interior, smiling as to say to me and everyone else, I AM DA Mayor!

I heard that the government spent millions to entrap da Mayor. Does anyone recall how much the government spent to catch da Mayor!

I did not vote for Ms. Dixon because she was a rubber stamp for our current govenor Martin O’Malley when he was the mayor and she was City Council President. That being said, I think that this is a witch hunt for people looking to make names for themselves in Baltimore. Ms. Dixon is accused of cashing in some gift cards, granting freinds and family contracts(white people have doing it for centuries, Quid Pro Quo I think it is called), and perjury. I think the perjury charge should be changed to the I Forgot That I Was A Nigger charge, which so many of our people forget when they get a taste of power. Politicians make deals everyday, nothing new there. But if you are black, every single i must be dotted, and every single t must be crossed.
This seems to be phase 2 of the “Urban Renewal” of Baltimore. Phase One was the relocation of poor residents in close proximity to the Inner Harbor, Downtown near Lexington Market, or Johns Hopkins. This phase will focus on the people who are policy makers. To discredit them in the public view so they will have wholesale changes very soon in this city. You heard it here first.

Yes, Somehow I’m wondering did she not play ball with some folk. There has never been an indicted Mayor in Baltimore. Why have Yurugu foresaken her? Wasn’t she a good servant to Yurugu or is this just per se a battle between various sects of Yurugu. You know everything is Play to pay. You will here it here and everywhere. Everyone has a price. I don’t feel too sorry with her Jimmy Chu Sandals of which I think was priced at $2,000.00 She should be slapped in her head wearing a pair of $2,000.00 pair of sandals. Someone correct me if I’m wrong though if it is true that she purchased a pair of $2,000.00 sandals than she has lost her mind. She is like many of those Afrikans in Afrika with 15 Mercedez sp. Benz

Heber, I also wanted to hook up with you. What is up with the friday show on 1010 A.M. ? Did they try to take you off? Let us know. I realize that they are only going to go so far on that show, therefore just know the limitations. They are definitely not going to say anything about Isreal/Gaza issue and I wouldn’t be suprised if some Zionists group is not hating on you and sending emails to the station already.

Anyway, I also wanted to hook up with the Minister In Prince Georges County. You know the one that went againsts BET. He wrote a forward or shall I say was an endorser in a book called “Green Collar Economy”.

Holla Black, If you get a chance here is my number again 410-209-9687 If you can make an intro for me I’d appreciate it. There are some issues in Prince Georges County that I would like to form a action operation to have a rally or town hall around.
